Both founding principals of Astrolabe Engineering are Rural & Surveying Engineers, making land surveying — from geodetic network establishment to individual parcel surveys — a core activity since the company was founded in 2002. With 5th-grade classification in Land Surveying Studies (cat. 16) on the Greek Registry of Consulting Engineering Firms, we serve public authorities, ministries, and design consortia at any scale. We deploy Total Station and GNSS equipment and combine these with 3D laser scanning and photogrammetry methods where the project’s scale, accuracy, or deliverable requirements call for it.
Services
Astrolabe Engineering provides the following Land Surveying services:
Geodetic Infrastructure Networks — Establishment and densification of horizontal and vertical control networks that define the common coordinate framework for large-scale engineering surveys, mapping and GIS projects.
Ground Control Points Definition — Precise measurement and documentation of reference points used to georeferenced topographic surveys, photogrammetric flights and remote sensing datasets to official coordinate systems.
Land Surveys for any purpose or requirement — Topographic and detail surveys, boundary demarcation, area and volume calculations, and all field measurement tasks required by engineering, planning or legal processes.
Inspection / Monitoring — Periodic measurement campaigns to detect and quantify deformation, settlement, displacement or volumetric change in structures, slopes, dams, pipelines and other assets over time.
Urban Planning Applications — Topographic base mapping and cadastral surveys supporting urban development plans, land subdivision studies, building permit applications and regulatory planning submissions.
Expropriation / Compensation Act studies — Technical identification, measurement and valuation of properties affected by public works corridors, providing the spatial and legal basis for expropriation and fair compensation procedures.
Parcel / plot surveys for transactions, permits, cadastral and forestal issues, etc. — Individual property surveys for real-estate transactions, building permits, forestal boundary disputes and registration with the National Cadastre or Forestry Registry.
Field Equipment
